Each one of us has their own Journey and in this overlong journey we are bonded to different persons some are by birth and some are the bond that we make with others during the course of the journey.
A Story of two Siblings
It was the middle of the night; a happy family was coming from a weekend trip. They were sharing a joyful moments among them. But their happiness did not last long. A very tragic incident happened with them. They met with a car accident in which only two siblings Sarah and Sam were survived and rescued by the locals. In this incident their parents got expired.
Sarah, the elder sister was a beacon of strength and resilience, taking a role of care giver to her little brother Sam. Life had thrown various challenges in their way and countless nights with worries, but Sarah always managed to find a way to keep their spirit up.
After a few years, Sarah started to work as a clerk and she worked hard to fulfill her brother’s dream. Sam started going to college, as he was a bright student his academic scores were very good so he got admission to one of the best colleges in the town. Instead of many struggles they were leading their life in a very cheerful manner. He always used to consider his sister as his idol.
There came a time when Sarah got a fatal disease which she hide from her brother because of his dream and further future goals. She always wanted to see her brother as a successful person. She always used to act healthy & normal in front of her brother but from inside she was dying.
On her brother convocation day, she went with Sam to received degree certificate. While, celebrating this proud moment she got fainted.
Sam carry her sister immediately to the hospital there he came to know that Sarah was fighting with prolong heart disease which was incurable. By hearing these he got shattered with heavily tears down.
After that he went to see his sister in the ICU room. He started scolding her for hiding the truth from him. She explained him that she did this for him to focus on his studies and achieving the goal, by hearing this he got emotional. Then, Sarah took a promise from him that he should not get distracted and depressed, he had to stay focused and achieve his goal after her death.
This story was narrated by Sam to his son and daughter.
By this time he got successful in his life and had a great wife and two wonderful children but his major miss was his sister who was his strength and gave her full life to fulfill his dreams.
